 Intel and CMS Computers host Desktop, Mobile and Server First Look SeminarsFollowing the release of Intel's multi-core processors the company have announced FREE first look seminars for technical, sales and marketing professionals interested in desktop, mobile and server based computing.
Intel, one of the World's leading manufacturers of processors have partnered with one of their main UK distributor's, CMS Computers, to run three events to be held at CMS Computers head-quarters in Liverpool. The dates for the seminars are Friday 28th September 2007. Throughout the day Intel will be providing three, one hour sessions each focusing on a different sector of the processor market. The first seminar begins at 10.00am and will relate to desktop computing and Intel will concentrate on the company's transition to Intel Core Architecture and will explain the benefits of multi core processing. In the second seminar, which will commence at 11.30am, Intel will provide an update on the latest Intel technologies for mobile users, including an explanation of the growing trend of Wi-Max and other wireless technologies. An overview of multi core processors for customers involved in the mobile computing market will also be offered. The last seminar, to be held at 1.30pm will focus on servers and will feature an update on Intel server processors and chipsets as well as a RAID update, explaining the advantages and disadvantages of SATA and SAS. All three seminars will last for an hour and will provide an excellent opportunity for Intel resellers as well as anybody else working within the IT field to become more educated on the latest Intel technologies and business opportunities. It also offers customers the chance to meet Intel representatives and discuss their products with a question and answer opportunity.
